Drone, heat and Romans at Tresminas

Vila Pouca de Aguiar

The 20 °C seemed ideal for recording the video segment dedicated to the Tresminas Roman Mining Complex - a place with a truly impressive setting and history. But the heat got too much and, deep in the valley, it felt like being inside an oven.

I can only imagine what it would have been like to work here in Roman mining times... To make matters worse, I forgot to take water, a mistake that quickly made itself felt. The trails, although short, have steep slopes that require some effort and which, in the heat, made the walk harder than it needed to be. Still, in the end, it was worth every drop of sweat!
