The Espaço Padre Fontes is one of the constituent poles of the Ecomuseu de Barroso project, consisting of several poles spread throughout the municipalities of Boticas and Montalegre.
It aims to provide an insight into the unique identity of each place, and the various ways in which the inhabitants of Barroso have interacted with their territorial and cultural environment.
Here, the visitor has the first contact with the different realities that make up the region, which is intended to be the incentive for exploring in loco. Watch dozens of documentaries on local ethnography, find more than a thousand points of interest on a three-dimensional model, visit rooms about the territory, people, daily life and vital cycles.
