The Boticas museum, a 10-minute walk from the town centre, is one of the constituent poles of the project Ecomuseu de Barroso, made up of various poles spread throughout the municipalities of Boticas and Montalegre.
THE MUSEUM Its aim is to provide an insight into the unique identity of Barroso.
It aims to provide an insight into the unique identity of each place, and the various ways in which the inhabitants of Barroso have interacted with their territorial and cultural environment.
It illustrates the interactions of human beings with the territory that currently constitutes the municipality of Boticas, and the spiritual experiences that have marked and guided its evolution. Free entry.
