Built in 1903 by Camilo Pastoria Mourão, the casarão (manor house), as it is known in the village of Codessoso, was adapted for rural tourism in 2005 by the granddaughter and current owner, Maria de Lourdes Mourão Lopes. It has available, on a bed and breakfast basis, three suites, three double rooms and a twin room, all with view to the garden and pool, or village, private bathroom, heating, television and telephone.
Nature Tourism – Natur Houses

Located in Boticas Parque in the heart of a unique forest environment, in the Natur Houses everything has been thought out so that your stay in communion with nature is as comfortable and peaceful as possible at the lowest environmental cost. The two duly equipped one-bedroom and two-bedroom accommodation units were built using non-polluting, recyclable materials and the LSF (light steel framing) system, which reduces energy consumption by around 70 per cent for both heating and cooling.
Local Accommodation - Casa Sousa

Located in the heart of Boticas village, Casa Sousa 3rd generation has been in the same family for three generations. It was home and grocery store of grandmother Rosalina, business and mini-market of the father Armindo, and now, local accommodation managed by grandson and son Nuno. It has two fully equipped 1-bedroom duplex flats available, ideal for a peaceful getaway, but with the convenience of location, with all the points of interest just a few minutes' walk away.

Born in Lisbon, he left the capital for a village in Barroso, where he has developed projects with various local institutions. He is a graphic designer and art editor at UMinho Editora. In 2017, he founded Terra Callaeci, a project dedicated to the promotion of the cultural landscape of Trás-os-Montes, as a construction of the people who inhabited (and inhabit) it.
