Terra Callaeci (land of the Galicians) is a project by designer Tiago Rodrigues - a native of Lisbon who abandoned the capital for a village in Barroso - dedicated to the dissemination of the cultural landscape of Trás-os-Montes, as a construction of the peoples who inhabited (and inhabit) it, and which succeeds Visit Boticas (2017-2023).
Visit Boticas was Boticas' first tourism and leisure portal (and the only one of its kind in the region to date). For six years, it has provided useful and constantly updated information free of charge through themed publications, databases and news content. With a view to promoting the region and sustainable local development.
The new project, which invokes the Castro culture as an aggregating element (and geographical reference), aims to be, not a database of everything that exists, but a repository of experiences and memories, from the perspective of its authors. And a guide to quality tourism outside the usual circuits, through carefully produced and/or selected content.
