The short film was produced by the Rostos da Aldeia collective, a project that aims to valorise Portugal's low-density territories by sharing inspiring stories of people who live, work and invest in inland villages. The project's mission is to counter rural desertification by promoting sustainable tourism, the settlement of new residents and the recognition of local traditions and cultures.
