The B(log) side of Terra Callaeci

Terra Callaeci (land of the Galicians) is a project by designer Tiago Rodrigues - a native of Lisbon who abandoned the capital for a village in Barroso - dedicated to the dissemination of the cultural landscape of Trás-os-Montes, as a construction of the peoples who inhabited (and inhabit) it, and which succeeds Visit Boticas (2017-2023).

Visit Boticas was the first tourism and leisure portal in Boticas (and the only one of its kind in the region, to date). For six years, it has provided free useful and constantly updated information through thematic publications, databases and news content. In a logic of promotion of the territory and of sustainable local development.

The new project, which invokes the Castro culture as an aggregating element (and geographical reference), aims to be, not a database of everything that exists, but a repository of experiences and memories, from the perspective of its authors. And a guide to quality tourism outside the usual circuits, through carefully produced and/or selected content.

The Terra Callaeci blog is one of the new features of the project. In this more informal segment, you can go behind the scenes and follow the process of content production.
