CAPOLIB launches commemorative plate for the 70th anniversary of the institution

Boticas

The Cooperativa Agro Rural de Boticas cooperative (CAPOLIB) launched last 26th November a limited edition of 500 plates, as part of the institution's 70th anniversary.

The plate, the result of a collaboration between designer Tiago Rodrigues and SPAL Porcelanas, can be purchased at the cooperative's shop and Nadir Afonso Arts Centre, in Boticas, and at the Loja Rural Produtos de Montanha, in Carreira da Lebre.

CAPOLIB was founded in 1952 in the municipality of Boticas, in the lands of Barroso, a region classified as World Agricultural Heritage by FAO, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, based on the genuineness of the territory, the traditional way of working the land, treating the cattle and the communitarianism of its inhabitants. It currently has around 1,000 members and its mission is to help agricultural producers to increase and improve their production, by centralising purchases and commercialisation of their products.
