The parish church of Be\u00e7a, dedicated to St Bartholomew, is a granite building in the Romanesque style, whose origins possibly date back to the 13th-14th century and which was remodelled around the 16th century.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The building has a single nave and chancel, behind which is the sacristy. The main fa\u00e7ade, with a round-arched portal, is topped by a gable with cornice, at the extension of which is a bell tower with two bells, topped with a Greek cross.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The floor is slabbed with the lids of 49 graves.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The church has five altars. The central figure is St Bartholomew, a painted stone sculpture flanked by two important local devotions: St Bras and St Sebastian. The other side altars are in the nave of the church, on the gospel side there is the altar of St Peter and St Barbara and on the epistle side there is the altar of St Paul and Our Lady of the Rosary. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
